Making a Difference in the Community

Supportive Rides for Fredericksburg’s Seniors

When freedom to go matters — we’re here to help.

At The Auridan Foundation, we know that access and mobility are essential building blocks of a healthy, engaged life. While our core focus remains supporting children facing pediatric cancer and their caregivers, we are excited to introduce a complementary community program: Senior Citizens Community Transports — compassionate, affordable transportation for seniors in and around Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Whether it’s a ride to a doctor’s appointment, a grocery run, or a community event, this program aims to offer support to help ensure our senior neighbors can stay connected, independent, and safe.

Making a Difference

Senior Citizens Community Transports offers:

  • Medical transportation — doctors, clinics, therapy sessions

  • Non-medical transportation — errands, social events, community activities

  • Friendly support — caring drivers trained in respectful, supportive service

  • Affordable rides — sliding-scale or subsidized options based on need

This service helps seniors who may otherwise struggle with the cost or logistics of getting where they need to go.
